Classic Nepal TourWe had a great experience in Nepal! There is so much to see in the country and the tour provided us a combination of both guided visits and times to explore on our own which was really nice. From visiting temples and historic sites, to exploring the forests of Chitwan National Park, to sunrise viewing of the Himalayas, all was amazing. Our guide, Raj, was knowledgeable and kind, very gracious, and shared a great deal of information and knowledge. He moved quickly through areas that he knew but also met the pace we wanted to experience the various facets of Nepal with. All in all, we enjoyed Katmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara, and would recommend anyone to visit Nepal and enjoy the beauty of the country.

Tale of Three Cities (Kathmandu & Nagarkot Tour)We enjoyed this trip thoroughly. The guides were very informative and patient. Our drivers were great too. I don’t know how the navigate through all that traffic but seem to do it with ease. There was a diversity of monuments and places of interest and enjoyed all of it. Definitely recommend to pay for the optional Everest flight. Worth every penny!

Everest Base Camp TrekFrom the moment we booked tour with the initial emails (they were extremely quick to reply to any questions) to getting us back to the airport once our tour finished, everything was perfect. We had an initial briefing with Ganga at our lovely hotel explaining everything the day before our trip began. We then met our guides Gorkana and Ram who were both fantastic. They were both extremely attentive throughout the whole tour from allowing flexibility within each day to tailor the tour to our groups needs and wants to each and every meal, making sure our food order was in promptly and everything was served and cleared efficiently. Having two guides for a group of 6 was perfect, if some wanted to go ahead one guide could go and one could stay behind. There was flexibility on our acclimatisation days depending on how people felt to hike all the way or just half way. Everything was tailored too. We also had fantastic porters who made sure our bags were there at our rooms every night before we even arrived and picked up the following morning. We had a fantastic group of people which made it even more amazing, everyone got along so well and there were zero issues. Overall I would highly recommend this company and if we ever go back to do another tour in this region we will definitely be using them again! Thanks again!

They made trip well organized and it was a solo trip. I was accompanied by the guide Pradeep through out the trip. Service was up to the mark but the road conditions of Nepal was terrible due to monsoon. It was very bumpy.???? From my experience it is good to go on trip after monsoon. It is recommended.

Everest Base Camp Trek 12 Days
Everest Base Camp Trek 12 DaysOverall we had an absolutely brilliant time, it was the trek of a lifetime. The tea houses were surprisingly good, with great food selection. The guide, Mindu, was brilliant and looked after everything so we had nothing to worry about. He was knowledgable and taught us lots about culture and the surroundings. Sherpa Expedition Trekking/ Teams (both the same- it’s not obvious that they are) provided down coats and sleeping bags, which were in brilliant condition, rated to -20 and were certainly warm enough. In fact, the sleeping bag was too warm for the lower tea houses. They also provided great duffel bags. Note- if you book the tour through tour radar and not Sherpa directly, it’s worth leaving the porter booking for the time being and sort it directly with Sherpa to avoid any confusion on how many are needed/ prices etc. The only thing we had concerns about was we’d have liked more constant and consistent monitoring of our symptoms for altitude. Our blood oxygen saturation readings were taken when we requested it, but there were discrepancies between what the guide told us was an acceptable SATs reading, and what we found on published medical journals. So I’d encourage you to be vigilant about this, and if it doesn’t seem right, speak up. Overall, holiday of a life time- take the plunge and enjoy it! Best, Dan

Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang Valley TrekI throughly enjoyed the trek up the valley, stopping at tea houses along the way to chat and enjoy garlic soup, tibetan bread, and of course marsala tea. I won't say the trek was easy by any means. But at the end of the day it was rewarding. Accommodation was excellent, toilet facilities very good, menus with lots of good food to choose from, scenery fantastic. We saw, mountain goats, deer, monkeys, lots of bird species, one wren, and a pair of red pandas; along with friendly travelling dogs. I am pleased I took along my sleeping bag as the nights in February were cold. While walking in the sunshine it wasn't necessary to wear a heavy coat. Hats and sun glasses are necessary. Garlic soup or as they say mountain medicine was my main lunch item to ward off altitude sickness and vampires. Though I didn't see any on this trek. All in all the trek was well organised, excellent guide, lovely people.

Annapurna Sanctuary
Annapurna SanctuaryNice hotel in Kathmandu, hiking was great. A ton of additional expenses, tipping drivers and porters and every meal was out of pocket. The cities were dirty, roads were a mess, stray dogs everywhere, electricity minimal. A great experience but be prepared for some discomfort. Scenery in the mountains were breathtaking.
