There was a nice balance between historical sites, outdoor activities, and shopping and dining. The hotels we stayed at were very comfortable. Catching trains & subways like ninjas, experiencing the bathing ways of japanese or using onsen is one of my favorite. Plus I’m with amazing young groups. Essential JapanWe had great tour guides for this tour. It was a perfect amount of time at each location. The tour guides were very professional and educational! We learned so much and we got to relax the most during this tour because we didn't need to plan or worry about logistics! Appreciated our tour guides, very punctual and to-the-schedule! 9D Splendid Japan with Nagoya (private 3 star hotel rooms)Tours between Osaka and Tokyo were good. There were no organized tours of Osaka and Tokyo so I did them on my own. Hotels were good though I wish the Tokyo Hotel was closer to the City center. The brochure showed Toyota City is included but we were there on a Monday when they are usually closed. The bus was comfortable but miss not having Wi-fi and charging outlets. The Hiroshima and Kyoto were good tours but both were optional tours that we paid extra for.

Tokyo, Kyoto and OsakaThe tour with David as our tour guide was very personalised for 2 reasons , 1 David said normally the tour would have up to 40 people the start of the tour in Tokyo their were 5 people , on the Kyoto Osaka part we were joined by by 6 then 4 respectively , David was exceptional over & above , in his time off in Tokyo I had left some Ice packs at home for my insulin we went to 4 places to find some & I also needed to buy a guitar to send to someone for the next part of my Japan solo experience, Francisco very good as well , the main improvement would be that we didn’t get a Sushi or a traditional Japanese selection meal or a small glass of Saki , I know with time constraints I would have liked to have seen more of Osaka , the Hotel accommodation was excellent thanks Roger Evans

Our tour guide went out of his way to ensure the tour allowed everyone to experience Japan with all senses, and fully appreciate the culture and beauty that is around every corner. The booking process left me very concerned initially as the tour was cancelled almost immediately. I later found out that nearly everyone on the Tour had wanted the initial booking. This has left me disappointed with that aspect.

- Hidden Tokyo Experience
Much improved. I have been to Japan twice now both times with Discovi and this was by far the best trip I could have imagined. There are new guides all local Japanese every single one of them is amazing (Shinya was exceptional!) and a brand new Hotel not a hostal like before but even the hostal option is better this time. But the hotel has breakfast and it was AMAZING a mix of Japanese and American food. Great start to the day. And the PUB CRAWL!! Crazy night so much fun, thanks Discovi!

This is an excellent tour. The activities are well thought out and interesting. The food and accommodation were top notch. Eriko was very friendly and helpful. Will be looking at doing more tours with this company (supervalue tours) in the future for sure :)
