It’s been very good all around. Thank you 😃
- by Vesna PackicAn amazing but very full on adventure. From day one, right through to the end it was very eventful, busy, challenging but most of all extremely rewarding. We had no expectations we we began the tour but our expectations were exceeded. We were blessed with mostly great weather, amazing scenery, fabulous fellow travellers and fantastic and very supportive guides.

Loved Peru. I found the people take great pride in their cities, culture and history and it shows in how clean the streets are, how great the food is and how wonderful the guides are. Loved the wildlife, the scenery and archeological sites too. My only downside was the airport.. Delayed flights and when trying to return home, no signage to show the directions from domestic (Cusco to Lima) to international section of airport. When I asked for help, I was told to go out the door, come back in the door next to it, only to find out that I needed to go outside, go to section adjacent and then go upstairs to departures which also had no sign there for "international departures". The LATAM staff gave me the run around on my luggage. One person said it would go automatically to Newark another said pick up your luggage in Lima and transfer to United. My luggage never arrived in Lima nor in Newark. When I arrived in Newark the United people said that LATAM was lying as it is never sent on directly and had to be collected and transferred by hand in Lima. I had to file a lost baggage claim upon final arrival in Canada . Still waiting for news.

Everything about this tour was well thought out and executed. The communication between the company and us was the perfect amount. I would recommend this tour to everybody who is looking to see as much in Cusco as possible in a week. I only suggest you moderately active because it is a lot of walking.
- by Valerie LewisWaldir was amazing in coordinating the tour, and I really enjoyed Peru! Thumbs up to the team :)

Amazing Tour, organizers and guides were extremely helpful and each day the adventure's were wonderful. Accommodation and food choices were also admirable. Thank you Tour Radar!
- by christina johnston10 Day Peru Express - Lima, Ica, Machu Picchu, Cusco & Puno + Titi-Kaka Lake with Domestic Flights with Waman Adventures was an amazing trip. Waman Adventures ran this tour smoothly and professionally. All accommodations, transportation, and most of the food were good. Every second of this trip was carefully thought out. A very informative, entertaining, and pleasant tour. You don't need to worry about anything. We learn a lot about Peru, nature, the ancient Inca civilization, and the current tribes. The tour guides Gido and Will are very professional, caring, punctual, and accurate. The hiking trips might be challenging ( for me, I have asthma) but there is an option to take a horse or bike with the driver. We highly recommend Waman Adventure Tours to everyone.

We did our trek with alpaca expositions and it was amazing. Our guides, Javier and Henry were encouraging and informative. The chef Alex was able to create gourmet meals including cakes and tortes in a camping setting. This was an unforgettable journey.
- by Victoria SugarmanUnbelievable. Brilliant tour, brilliant guides (Juan Carlos and Rosita) who let you stop or slow down whenever you need, they tell stories and show you interesting stops along the way, they're funny, sweet, organized and helpful. The porters carry your belongings and sleeping bags, etc. and you really can't believe how much they can carry with no complaints. They also work so hard around the camp, and they clapped us every time we arrived at our lunch/dinner spots. The chefs, wow, cooked us some amazing meals, and there was always more than enough food. They provide you with snacks for throughout the day which is nice - and needed! Everything was just amazing and very well ran. I can't recommend this trip enough.

Manolo was a perfect guide
- by Jansje van DijkOur guide Mihail Bejar was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history. It helped that he is local born and raised. During our 13 km hike on day one he was accommodating and patient with hikers that could not move as quickly. He was never overbearing and always friendly and supportive. Highly recommend. Pretour Comms were great: fast and clear. Tour logistics were good enough and daily communication clear. Few minor aspects unexpected eg additional meal costs, rental of equipment (sleeping bags, mattress). Local guides, porters were great ( as expected). At times the encouragement to tip all service providers felt excessive. Overall a good tour, given the small group and pricing.
- by VINCENT MURRAY OLIVERWe had a wonderful time. Everyone we interacted with at G Adventures was amazing, including a late night visit from a doctor. Highly recommend this tour!

If you like primitive camping this is the trip for you. Disconnecting was just what I needed to reset. Make sure you bring long pants and plenty of insect spray if mosquitoes bother you. List of animals I saw: caman, river otter family, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, macaws, cabibarras, piranhas, tucanes and many more. Words can not express how much I loved it.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the package. There was only one snafu when I arrived in Peru and my driver was not there. However, they got me a taxi so it turned out fine. The hotel (San Pedro Monestario) was modest, rustic, and charming. Definitely no frills but it was fine by me. The communication with TR was very good. I was able to get responses in a timely manor. The guide that was assigned as my contact ( I wish I could remember her name!!!!! She was from South Africa) she was amazing!!!! She helped me off-hours, and really made me feel like I had someone to reach out to at all times. Please tell her thank you from me! There was an mudslide on one of my day tours, and I was given a refund for this being cancelled and that was swift and appreciated. Thank you Tour Radar.
- by Kristen HiltI booked this tour thinking it would majority of the 5 days in the jungle. Turns out, Bamba only picked me up in the evening of day 1 to put me in an overnight bus. The next day, my morning was spent at the eco lodge office waiting for the rest of the group. Day 4, was again mostly spent in the office waiting for the taxi to take me back to the overnight bus. I did have the option of walking around Puerto Maldonado. Honestly, there wasn't much to do there. Day 5, I arrived at Cusco bus station with the understanding that there would be someone to pick me up. After waiting 45 mins, someone from Bamba finally told me there wouldn't be anyone and I should take a taxi. Not impressed with the communication. Amazon Planet is the eco lodge I stayed at. They were fantastic! Meals were delicious, room was well kept, community excellent. Jungle walks were enjoyable. Only wish I could have seen and done more. If I go back, I'd book with Amazon Planet directly.

Excellent tour. Reliable times for pick up, transportation and plans with very good local tour guides.
- by Julio Robert FlaminiWithout words to describe this place, just by naming it, you feel all the history it has. Our guide Magalli did everything perfcto, a very professional and attentive person. I recommend them without hesitation

We traveled with Active Adventures to Peru to hike the Inca Trail. The local guides were amazing. The itinerary was well thought out and gave us great cultural experience. The food was great. However, their customer service was subpar. I have traveled with several other tour companies over the years, and they have always been helpful in giving us tips on pre and post trip logistics. When we booked the trip they were not all that helpful in answering questions we had to get more clarity on details we needed to schedule the rest of our trip. We learned on the trip that they gave other guests different information (that was more accurate). They also changed the overall itinerary and did not tell us that until the trip started. The changes were fine but it required us to change our post trip flights and it would have been better to know that before the trip. Finally, the hotel rooms for the first two nights in Cusco were subpar for what I would expect for what we paid for the trip.
- by Edward RandolphHad a blast on the Jaguar trip. Guides were totally professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly. As a person who always backpacks alone/duo and does everything self contained - I can't imagine adventuring around Peru without these guides, they are that essential. Exploring Cusco city and learning its history, hiking, biking, Machu Picchu, and the jungle were a blast, once in a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and explore Peru with these guys.
