Wonders of the Maya
Wonders of the MayaExcellent tour! The itinerary is perfect, you really get to see all the highlights of the Yucatán peninsula (we will never forget places like Palenque), and also the wildlife and rainforests. We also greatly appreciated other activities like the cenote and swimming under a waterfall. Miguel, our guide, is very helpful and super knowledgeable. Our driver, Alfredo, also made a great addition to the team. Finally, with regard to the food, I must say it was fantastic and Miguel made great choices, very authentic. We even went to a place were they spoke Mayan as a first language and prepared carne asada the traditional way.

Mexico Real Food AdventureIt was a well planned and organised tour. The food element of the tour (given it was a food tour) was excellent where there was sufficient group activities and food tasting and own time to explore. I was in a group of 10, and got along with everyone, which made the trip really good. The icing on the cake was a cooking tour at the end of the trip followed by a boat trip to see the sunset. The tour guide, Marcela was a gem - she is full of energy, knowledgable and genuinely cares for people (not only the tour group, but everyone)! I would highly recommend this tour for people. A few things that could be improved 1) we could have had 1 more cooking class as part of the tour; 2) we could have created a kitty in the beginning to help with the tips; and 3) we could have started the tour on day one in the morning/mid day to cover more of Mexico City.

Aztecs & MayasCommunication and quality of tour guide need to improve. We nearly missed our flight due to poor communication and arrangement as transport failed to turn up and we have to call for taxi to airport and incurred additional cost to us. Some of the hotel also needs improvement as it is too basic n no privacy. Room door is not closing fully n air conditioning leaking. Transport vehicle also needs improving as some of the van r not comfortable. Regards Unhappy travelers

Mayan Adventure
Mayan Adventurei am amazed at the care shown about where we were and how we were doing. I wish we could have had more time to wander around the ruins especially at chichen itza. If iIhad to do it again I would have skipped Cancun completely and spent two days at the ruins. Miguel was just awesome and he is so smart he needs to learn more about the ruins and the history like the guide we had at chichen itza. HOWEVER, his knowledge about the Mayan people was incredible. I had recent surgery on my foOt and wore a brace,Miguel was so kind and helpful I got to see everything , even climbed the stairs at Pelenque. WOULD RECOMMEND THE TOUR HIGHLY.

Colonial Treasures of Mexico
Colonial Treasures of MexicoExcellent tour Sergio (Guide) & Felix (Driver) made sure that everything ran smoothly and all the locations and sites were seen and enjoyed. All the hotels were perfect with the exception of the Holiday Inn Express which requires desperate maintenance as the bedrooms were very outdated the showers did not work properly and only one lift was working and that kept breaking down trapping several guests on a number of occasions including guests in our tour. I would suggest changing this hotel to a more suitable one.

The Mystical Mayan Trail: A Trip Through Mexico's Vibrant Culture and Natural BeautyDie Route und die Dauer der Tour durch das schöne Chiapas war für uns perfekt. Die Abwechslung von Natur und Kultur war optimal. Die Hotels waren bis auf eine Ausnahme (Palenque) gut, das Frühstück überall sehr gut. Der Comfort des Minibusses war ausbaufähig. Bei größerer Körpergröße gibt es eigentlich nur einen Sitzplatz, der in Frage kommt, der insbesondere auf längeren und kurvigen Strecken ungemütlich ist. Die Tourguides und Fahrer waren allesamt äußerst kompetent und freundlich. Insbesondere Hector und Francisco, die uns über mehrere Tage begleitet haben, haben die Reise zu etwas besonderem gemacht. Auch, weil sie uns bei gesundheitlichen Problemen beratschlagt haben. Am Ende der Reise konnten wir uns in Valladolid (statt Cancun) absetzen lassen, was unsere Weiterreise erleichtert hat.

- Mexico Yucatán Experience
Awesome trip, great way to see so much of Mexico in a short space of time. Top moments were the beach at Holbox, swimming in the 7 colours lagoon, experiencing the cenotes, all the guacamole, delicious breakfast recommendations, seeing Xichen Itsa and biking in Tulum. Our guide was Eve and she was THE BEST. We have done a bunch of other trips and she was by far the most personable, creative, fun, lovely person with a lot of experience and wonderful ability to share her knowledge with us. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to party and catch a lot of culture all in one trip. I loved that the group was only 10 people, gave us a chance to meet everyone and there wasn’t a divide in the group nor too many people.

An excellent tour to appreciate and learn about the Mayan civilisation. Very happy to have done this. Miguel is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide with a good sense of humour. We felt very safe in the hands of our driver, Edgar. All of the hotels were decent and centrally located. We had a minor issue with the airport transfer to the hotel as we didn’t see anyone holding out a sign with our name. The assistance contact number provided by Destination Services was useless, no one answered when we called. Luckily we had the number of the guide, he helped us find the right guy in the busy Cancun airport!
