Wonders of the MayaExcellent tour from start to finish. All hotels were clean and tidy with a traditional Mexican touch. Palenque was a particular highlight for me. Miguel our guide was very informative, knew the right places to eat and very friendly. Driver Jesus was like speedy gnazalez getting us from A to B quickly and safely.

Yucatan Quintana Roo Experience
Yucatan Quintana Roo ExperienceI hesitate beetween okay and good score. Good overview of maya civilization, very interesting. Some of typical towns like Merida was good to discover. But too much time lost beetween steps, long time passed to travel by bus. The bus was always confortable. 3 of 4 hotels we spent one or two nights were inacceptable regarding 3 stars annonced. Some night prices around 35 euros by checking on site, so not the quality we expect for the tour price. Only Reforma hotel in Merida was typical and charming. First hotel in Cancun was in a bad quarter. Last hotel Melina in playa del Carmen was horrible, and I didn't find at all my room similar to the internet pictures, so strange, I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to sleep in that kind of place. In addition hot water is an hasardous things in the 4 hotels. Globaly for this trip, many many extra paiements. And too much similar temples we visited. Some beaches we saw are so nice and clean and safe. Mexican yucatan nature, tropical plants are very interesting. Mexican tourist workers aren't the most kind of the World. But common people are gently. To extend the trip by our own funds, we added a day in the famous xcaret Park, we recommand that because of the main great evening show about popular mexican History. For a next time to Travel , I would prefer know the hotel choices before pay.

An excellent tour to appreciate and learn about the Mayan civilisation. Very happy to have done this. Miguel is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide with a good sense of humour. We felt very safe in the hands of our driver, Edgar. All of the hotels were decent and centrally located. We had a minor issue with the airport transfer to the hotel as we didn’t see anyone holding out a sign with our name. The assistance contact number provided by Destination Services was useless, no one answered when we called. Luckily we had the number of the guide, he helped us find the right guy in the busy Cancun airport!

- Mexico Yucatán Experience
Awesome trip, great way to see so much of Mexico in a short space of time. Top moments were the beach at Holbox, swimming in the 7 colours lagoon, experiencing the cenotes, all the guacamole, delicious breakfast recommendations, seeing Xichen Itsa and biking in Tulum. Our guide was Eve and she was THE BEST. We have done a bunch of other trips and she was by far the most personable, creative, fun, lovely person with a lot of experience and wonderful ability to share her knowledge with us. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to party and catch a lot of culture all in one trip. I loved that the group was only 10 people, gave us a chance to meet everyone and there wasn’t a divide in the group nor too many people.
