Ecuador Tours & Trips
The snow-covered Cotopaxi volcano is the highest active volcano in the world, and an overnight climb is one of the many adventures available in Ecuador. Another is a visit to the eerie Cloud Forest of Mindo, and not to be missed is a trip to Galapagos Islands.

Galápagos Multisport
Galápagos MultisportThe GAdventures App needs updating and is not very well laid out. The trip itself was excellent - made especially memorable by the fantastic group we had. Our CEO was responsive to requests and various tastes and there was never a time that we were waiting for transportation. Accommodation was as expected - clean, friendly

Galápagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea Lions
Galápagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea LionsThis was an absolutely amazing tour! I loved everyday of it, from start to finish. To be able to see so many amazing animals in such a beautiful and pristine environment was truly a dream. My guide Fernando was also amazing! His knowledge and passion for the islands really came through and he gave us so much great information while being friendly, positive and engaging. I would do this tour again if I could. The camping element was also great. It was actually better than I imagined as the tents were large and tall enough to stand up in and more than enough space for 2 people. The only thing I would offer is an even longer tour visiting Espaniola, Rabida and possibly other islands as well (aimed at 18-35's bracket), as now I am even more fascinated with the other islands and want to see more! I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Best of Galapagos
Best of GalapagosHighly recommended! We had a fantastic group leader Katty, she was keeping us informed about all the activities and extra things to do all the times as well as had a great enthusiasm with regards to animals and uniqueness of Galapagos islands. Program was great and time was just right! All meals were also really good.

Ecuador Highlights
Ecuador Highlights4.7 (32 reviews)award winnerAn amazing country but lots of time driving required to see so much of it in only 8 days (can't include day 1 or 10). Our experience was unique in that my husband and I were "the" tour group! We benefitted from a very personalized Adventure Journeys tour with guide Alfonso Freire, about whom we can't say enough nice things: extremely knowledgeable and interesting as well as fun to spend time with! I am vegan and want to complement the young chef at Liana Lodge (Tena/Amazonia) who prepared delicious meals for me; other places didn't/couldn't provide enough vegan alternatives but I've traveled enough to know I have to be flexible sometimes (intention vs perfection). Accommodations ranged from 5-star to 3-star, all however were clean & comfortable (I did request a room with electricity in Amazonia & brought a tiny fan for relief from the heat & humidity... thank goodness I did!). The people of Ecuador are gracious, the scenery is beautiful and the food is delicious! It is a shame that tourism is being severely impacted by current (political/gang) events however we felt safe wherever we went, with or without Alfonso: problems do exist but not in areas where most tourists go and people should feel encouraged to travel here!

Ecuador Multisport Once in a Life Time
Ecuador Multisport Once in a Life TimeThe title of the tour is accurate. We had an awesome time. Our tour guide, Alfonso, was excellent. He quickly figured out our abilities and interests and tailored the tour accordingly. He was very knowledgeable about Ecuador and gave us an insider's perspective. There were a variety of activities and adventures and the accommodations were perfect. We could not have asked for a better trip. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who's up for an adventure.

13 Days Exploring Ecuador: Highlands and Rainforest

Affordable Galapagos 8 Days Tour
Affordable Galapagos 8 Days TourJust wanted to share that our trip to the Galapagos Islands was fantastic. Everything worked out seamlessly! The hotels and the tours recommended by Guidecuador were excellent! Hotel locations in particular were ideal. We did all as promised, especially the awesome snorkeling with sharks and pinguins, that experience was very special for us. Also, the communication with the staff was very easy for us too. It was nice that we could all check out the daily plan at any time, and be able to pull up all the vouchers and tickets Thank you again Sofia and Alejandro from Guidecuador for making our bucket list place tour an unforgettable lifetime experience. We will definitely go back to you guys in our next trip to Latin America.

Magical Galapagos (5 Days)
Magical Galapagos (5 Days)The Cami Adventures team provided an incredible experience of the Galapagos Islands for me and my two traveling companions. They made it repeatedly clear that they were happy to help whenever it was requested and went above and beyond to organise a birthday cake for us. The day-tours were hosted by especially knowledgeable and friendly guides in small groups which enabled us to ask lots of questions and get more out of each trip. The hotel we stayed at was clean, provided a large assortment of breakfast foods and provided a filter with clean drinking water. I highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to the Galapagos Islands on a budget who wants the hassle of organising activities/tours taken away.

Highlights Of Quito and Galapagos Islands
Highlights Of Quito and Galapagos IslandsThe experience was great. Nearly everyone who assisted us was very helpful. The one exception was Cecelia on Isabella Island. At the beginning of the second day, no one showed up to take us to the designated locations. Our hotel manager called the local tour company and reported that we had been forgotten. The name of the company was something like Georeisen. The representative told me she would get someone to pick us up. Guess who showed up? Cecelia! She made no reference to our being forgotten, and she didn’t apologize. Her English is poor. Actually, my high school Spanish is what allowed us to communicate. She should not be a tour guide.

Best Of Ecuador
Best Of EcuadorWe just returned from a 13 days in South America on a Best of Ecuador and Peru excursion and used Indus to book the trip. The Good: The destinations were magnificent. We were able to see the Galapagos, Quito, Cuzco, Machu Piccu, and Lima in one grand adventure. The wildlife was spectacular! The people were friendly and open to tourism. Two out of the four city guides we had were simply amazing in their depth of knowledge about the respective area. The transportation was good, mostly. I'll elaborate more later. --The buses had AC and were large enough for the group size. The water taxis and speed boats used for transfers were great! The food we were able to taste and culture we were able to experience went beyond what we could have experienced were we to have traveled alone. In the end, it was worth it to me for the depth of knowledge received from the guides. The Bad. If your tour begins in a city other than your residence, book your own connecting flight. We were quoted airfare comparable to what I could have booked on my own, and agreed to have Indus upgrade the flights to have a single ticket for checked baggage, however, they took almost 2 months to fully book and confirm that add on flight and the airfare more than doubled. Several of the flight connections were simply horrible. We flew in on Day 1 at past midnight, had an hour drive to the hotel, then had to turn around and be ready to fly out again the next day at 6am. Another connection later in the trip only gave us about 1 1/2 hours of sleep when it was all said and done. They always book hotels an hour (at least) away from the airports and it makes it very difficult when you fly in late and have leave very early the following day. On one of our walking tours, an elderly lady lost her balance and fell. Neither of the tour guides had any First Aid supplies or any apparent training in cleaning her up and bandaging her wounds. I am a search and rescue person where I live and always carry first aid supplies -- I was the one to assess and fix her up. Seems a bit lacking in needed skills. Which brings me to one of the biggest gripes... when I booked the trip, it was supposed to be for a 12 person group. Indus doubled the size and put two groups together. We wound up having 19 for half of the trip, then another couple joined us for the back half in Cuzco and Machu Piccu. The trip also advertised it was a fairly strenuous trip with lots of hiking and walking and of course, the hike up Machu Piccu. There were several group members who were less than mobile and who hindered the entire group because they 1) needed a cane to walk and/or wheelchair for airport transfers; 2) had a phobia of boats (Hello? The tour described high speed boats for inter island transfers!) and 3) got upset when the majority of the group wanted to do the scenic walking tours and get a more in depth knowledge and experience of the area. My final gripe was the lodging. Indus claims 5-star hotels, and one of the 5 hotels we stayed in was maybe 5 star. The rest weren't even close. We have traveled Europe extensively and are used to smaller rooms, etc, but these rooms were dated, small, had issues with the climate controls so they were extremely stuffy, and one hotel in Cuzco I got bitten by bed bugs!!! I don't expect small, cramped rooms and bugs when the itinerary says "superior" rooms. I'd hate to see the standard ones. As I said before though, the overall experience was worth it to me to put up with the shortcomings, but I probably won't be using Indus' services any time soon.

- Galápagos Multisport
This tour is intended for people who are physically fit, able to walk 6 kilometers a day, love to kayak/snorkel/swim/bike, and still have plenty of energy to enjoy the wildlife. I cannot cope up with the group, but luckily our CEO offered me options like museum visit, tour to Tntoreras. I still was able yo see all the wildlife I need to see exvept the cormorant. I did not expect to stay in a 5 star hotel. I find the accommodation suitable enough for my needs: comfortable bed, air condition, water, electricity, wifi. Special thanks to Sandra, CEO. She is one of the best tour guides I met in my years of travel. She is a great listener and teacher. She was born in Santa Cruz. She knows Galapagos like the palm of her hand.
- Galápagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea Lions
This was a great tour, the galápagos is amazing! G-adventure has a well organized tour. There are some early morning days but they don't matter because you are in the Galápagos! The rooms are basic but have air conditioning which is good since it is very hot there. José was a fantastic guide and had so much knowledge about the islands. Definitely choose the add-on snorkeling trips they are worth it. I think the Galápagos needs to be on everyone's list.
