- When and where does the tour end?
This tour will end after breakfast on the last day of the tour at The Oasis Hotel Pyramids in Cairo. Please be aware the hotel is subject to change until your final documents are released.
- When and where does the tour start?
The first day of the tour is just an arrivals day so you can arrive at any time and make your way to The Oasis Hotel Pyramids in Cario. There is, however, a welcome meeting at the hotel at 6pm where you will meet your fellow travellers and tour guide, do not worry if you are unable to make it in time as you can simply meet everyone in the morning.
- Can you assist with booking additional accommodation?
Of course, we can! Once you have a confirmed booking on this tour, we can request additional accommodation for you with the tour operator.
- I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?
If you are a solo traveller and you don't mind sharing you will be roomed with a fellow traveller of the same gender for no additional cost. However, if you would prefer your own private room this can be arranged for an additional cost, please contact our customer support team for more information.
- Are the flights included?
Flights before and after the tour are not included in the tour price and you need to arrange these separately by yourself once your tour is guaranteed. As we specialise in organising the best tours around the world for you, we are unable to advise on flight prices or book flights on your behalf. - What is the age range?
Travel Talk's passengers tend to be between the ages of 18 and 39, however, they do welcome more mature travellers who are young at heart. Unfortunately, children under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate due to the nature of the tour.
- What happens if I can't make it in time and will be arriving the day after the first meeting of the tour?
It is not a problem if you arrive later on the day one as there are no activities planned. Usually when travellers arrive later, the tour guide leaves the information on the reception and you can call later if you have any additional questions so it is not a big problem if you miss the first meeting.
- What is local Payment ?
The local payment allows you to not pay the full price upfront, but allows you to save up until the tour departs and only pay once you arrive at the tour. At the same time, in case you need to cancel your tour, you won't be required to pay the local payment amount.
- What is a Felucca?
Feluccas are traditional sailing boats that have been used on the Nile for centuries. They are very simple sailing boats and have no engines or bathrooms which is all part of the experience. There is a single deck on which you can stretch out during the day under a shade awning. Each felucca sleeps 6-8 people and is crewed by a captain and a deckhand – both of whom have grown up along the banks of the Nile.
- Do you arrange airport transfers?
Complimentary airport transfers will be provided on Day 1 of the tour between 05:00 am and 12:00 pm, as well as a departure transfer from the ending hotel to the airport on the last day of the tour. To arrange these please contact our customer support team when your booking is confirmed.
